Soul Space Privacy Policy
Soul Space ("we", "our", "the app") is a social voice chat room app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Soul Space you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: email address, password (stored securely by Firebase Authentication), display name, profile photo, and other profile details you choose to add.
- Phone number (optional): if you add one, we verify it by sending a one-time code to your account email.
- Content you create: chat messages, room names and cover photos, photos you share in room chat, gifts you send or receive, friend and follow connections.
- Voice: when you take a mic seat in a room, your voice is transmitted live to other people in that room through Agora. We do not record or store voice audio.
- Purchases and coins: coin balance, transaction history, and recharge requests. For card top-ups through our payment link, you may upload a payment screenshot as proof. We do not receive or store your card number.
- Usage and device data: online/last-seen status, the room you are currently in, app version, device model, and crash and performance logs.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and show your profile to other users.
- To run voice rooms, chat, games, gifts, rankings, and friend features.
- To process coin purchases and top-ups, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To moderate the app, enforce our rules, and handle reports and support requests.
- To fix bugs, improve performance, and keep the app secure.
3. Permissions
- Microphone: only to let you speak in voice rooms.
- Photos / gallery: only when you choose to upload a profile picture, room cover, or chat photo.
- Notifications: to show messages, alerts, and the ongoing room notification.
- Network access: to connect to our servers and voice service.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the app:
- Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage, cloud functions, crash reporting).
- Agora (real-time voice).
- Payment providers (such as Google Play Billing and Ziina) to process payments.
- Email delivery provider to send verification codes.
Your profile details, messages, and gifts are visible to other users in the rooms and features you use. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
5. Data retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. Photos shared in room chat are automatically deleted after a short time. Chat messages shown in a room are temporary on screen. Transaction records may be kept longer for accounting and fraud prevention.
6. Your choices and account deletion
You can edit your profile information inside the app. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at the address below from your account email, and we will process the request within a reasonable time. Some records (such as transaction logs) may be retained where the law requires it.
7. Security
We use Firebase security rules, encrypted connections, and role-based access to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Soul Space is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this page, with the date updated above.
